After texturing the clay on both sides, sanding, and cutting out the shape, I fire my pieces in an electronically temperature controlled kiln for 2 hours. I then oxidize them to bring out the texture. I finish the process by polishing, burnishing, and tumbling them. I complete the earrings with a eyelet rivets and sterling silver ear-wire

The earring measure 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. The hang approximately 1 1/4 inches from the ear lobe.

Silver clay is a wonderful medium that starts out in a clay form consisting of sterling silver and binder. After firing in the kiln, the binder burns off and the end result is a beautiful piece of sterling silver.


The earrings come in a custom gift box with anti-tarnish cotton fill.
