After texturing the clay, sanding, and cutting out the shape, I fire my pieces in an electronically temperature controlled kiln for 2 hours. I then oxidize the earrings to bring out the texture. I finish the process by polishing, burnishing, and tumbling them. I completed the earrings with a eyelet rivet for a nice finished look. The ear wires are sterling silver.
